Sapphire, The Boat, Original Fine Art Watercolor Painting, 20 x 26 FRAMED

This sailboat was seen on one of our boating excursions along the inter coastal waterway heading back to Skull Creek Marina, Hilton Head Island, SC.  There were several of these small sailboats passing us and we realized it was a training session.  So fun to watch the student and instructor sail by us some with ease and others flip flopping along.  I thought for composition purposes I'd remove the two men, so the new owner of the painting could enjoy the simplicity of the boat, without wondering who the two men inside were.  I named it Sapphire, because I love dark blue and it worked well with the color of the sky and water.
