This painting offers a close-up view of a sunflower’s face, filling the paper with its radiant presence. The yellow petals are painted with bold, expressive strokes, their edges slightly curled to suggest the flower’s natural imperfections. The deep brown center is the star here, rendered with a rich, almost chocolatey depth and speckled with tiny golden flecks that mimic pollen. The green stem is partially visible, peeking out from the bottom, while  intricately detailed leaves with its fascinating, veined texture adds a touch of realism. A bold white background enhances the sunflower’s glow, making it feel as though the flower is basking in sunlight.
