Six spoonbills rest quietly among marsh grasses, their vivid pink forms mirrored in tranquil water below. Bold, expressive washes of rose and coral glow against layered greens and coastal blues, creating a striking balance of warmth and serenity. The reflections double the rhythm of the birds, inviting the viewer into a peaceful marsh moment where color, light, and stillness meet.

I used 300 lb hot press Arches watercolor paper along with Winsor & Newton paints.
